Leaves in her hair

So I got the Canon Rebel xs for my birthday and immediately had a photo shoot. It was supposed to be like the ANTM one where they had eyeshadow splattered on their faces... but I took these ones after and ended up liking them much more. Oh well! I'm still trying to figure out how to use it though, I don't even know how to turn the flash off!
